Technical > Projects > CoventryTowards the end of 1998, the jdt (Joint Data Team) which form part of the Mott MacDonald Group were asked to investigate the proposed North-South Road in Coventry. An existing QVIEW model of the city was available, from which a cordoned area was extracted for use in this study. This sub-model was then converted into the CONTRAM format using spreadsheet manipulations. The new CONTRAM model was then enhanced by updating all the junction information and new developments where appropriate. The matrices were then updated using a spreadsheet method specially generated for the task. With the updated model, several test and appraisals were conducted and recommendations made.
